Account and bonus terms
These are the words you will see most in promotion pop-ups and the member area.
Turnover (rollover)
The total value of valid bets you must place before bonus-linked money can be withdrawn. Example: MYR 100 deposit + MYR 120 bonus at 16x = MYR 3,520 of bets.
Valid bet
A settled bet that counts towards turnover. Void bets, cancelled rounds and bets on both sides of the same event are not valid.
Rebate
A percentage of valid turnover paid back daily, win or lose. At RMking8 it ranges from 0.38% to 1.2% depending on product and VIP level, with a 1x turnover.
Rescue bonus
A share of a day's net slot loss returned at 17:00 the next day: 1% from MYR 100 up to 8% from MYR 300,000.
Net loss
Deposits minus withdrawals minus bonuses over the period being measured.
Reward Center and Manual rebate
The Reward Center is where you collect free spins, red packets and app rewards. Manual rebate is where you claim today's rebate early; otherwise it is paid automatically after 2:00 AM.
VIP maintenance
The deposit and valid turnover you must reach each month to keep your current VIP level. If you miss it, you drop one tier.
Bind
To link a bank or e-wallet in your own name to your profile. Withdrawals only go to bound accounts.
Slot and fishing terms
- RTP: return to player, the long-run share of stakes paid back. Lobby cards show a recent reading.
- Volatility: low means small, frequent wins; high means rare, larger wins.
- Scatter: a symbol that pays or triggers features anywhere on the reels.
- Free spins: a bonus round at no cost, often with multipliers.
- Feature buy: paying to enter the bonus round directly. It is not allowed while most bonuses are active.
- Cascade: winning symbols vanish and new ones fall in, allowing chain wins.
- Megaways: a changing number of symbols per reel, giving up to tens of thousands of ways to win.
- Jackpot: a prize pool fed by every bet, either fixed or progressive.
- Cannon level: the cost per shot in a fishing game. Payouts scale with it.
Table and card game terms
- Banker / Player: the two baccarat hands. Banker has a slightly lower house edge and usually pays 0.95:1.
- Road map: the result grids beside a baccarat table. They record history and do not predict anything.
- Squeeze: slow card reveal for suspense, popular in Asian baccarat rooms.
- Dragon Tiger: one card each, and the higher card wins.
- Sic Bo / Tai Xiu: three dice. Big is 11–17, Small is 4–10, and triples lose both.
- Pok Deng: a Thai card game. A two-card 8 or 9 is a "Pok", and suited cards pay a "Deng" multiplier.
- Fish Prawn Crab: three dice showing six animal symbols.
- Rake: the operator's small share of each poker pot.
Sports, e-sports and lottery terms
- Malay odds: +0.70 wins MYR 70 per MYR 100; −0.80 risks MYR 80 to win MYR 100.
- Decimal odds: 1.70 returns MYR 170 per MYR 100, stake included.
- Asian handicap (HDP): a goal head start that removes the draw.
- Over/Under (O/U): total goals above or below a line.
- 1X2: home, draw or away.
- Mix parlay: a combined ticket where every leg must win.
- Outright: a tournament-winner bet. Bonus money cannot be used on it.
- Map handicap: an e-sports head start counted in maps.
- Meron / Wala: the red and blue corners in cockfight betting.
- 4D Big / Small: Big wins on any of 23 prizes; Small only on the top three, at a higher payout.
- iBox: covers every order of your digits for one stake, with the prize shared across orders.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a rebate and a rescue bonus?
A rebate is paid on everything you bet, win or lose. A rescue bonus is paid only on a net loss, and at RMking8 only on slots.
Is RTP the same as my chance of winning a spin?
No. RTP describes the long-run average across millions of spins. Your chance of a winning spin is a different number, called hit frequency.
Why does Malay odds use negative numbers?
Negative Malay odds mark the favourite: −0.80 means you stake MYR 80 to win MYR 100.
What does 'opposite-side betting' mean?
Betting both outcomes of the same event, such as Banker and Player in one hand. These bets never count as valid turnover.
